Shop, dine, play, and sleep in the fifth largest building in the world. Built in 2003 in the heart of the city, Berjaya Times Square has become a shopping and entertainment staple of Kuala Lumpur. The twin tower complex houses thousands of retail shops, suites, cinemas, restaurants, a five star hotel, and Asia’s largest indoor theme park.
With local brands, international brands, and everything in between, the Berjaya Times Square shopping mall promises great savings. Although not as cheap as can be found in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, the Times Square Shopping Mall is a great place to score on high quality women’s apparel, shoes, electronics and IT gear.

If you venture away from the Square, a myraid of shopping and dining options are just a short walk away. BB Plaza, Sungai Wang Plaza, Lot 10 and Low Yat Plaza are several of Kuala Lumpur’s best shopping malls.

Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

The 133,000 square foot indoor theme park hosts an 800 meter long roller coaster that is sure to get the hearts of amusement park enthusiasts pumping. The park is split into two sections: Fantasy Garden and Galaxy Station. Fantasy Garden is beautifully constructed, and contains 8 rides targeted towards families with youngsters. Galaxy Station contains 6 rides, and is targeted towards thrill-seeking teenagers and adults. Supersonic Oddysey, the theme park’s roller coaster, is the big attraction of the park.

The theme park is located in levels 5 and 7 of the mall. Make sure you set aside several hours to explore the park as there’s a lot of ground to cover, and oddly, the rides only run once every 10 minutes.
