Blissful Hideaways At The Menjangan

No phones, no cable TV, and the WiFi connection is weak… It sounds like 21st century hell, doesn’t it? Despite its lack of “connectivity,” The Menjangan is a breathtaking 24-room resort in West Bali National Park. The only resort in West Bali National Park, The Menjangan combines a unique blend of lush rainforest flora and fauna, with spectacular ocean views. A secluded five-hour drive from Denpasar, The Menjangan Resort is the perfect secluded escape for honeymooners and those looking for some peace and quiet.

Stay At The Beach Villas

There are no bad rooms at this resort. All of the rooms and suites were renovated in April 2011, and all are large, clean, and modern. The difference between the Monsoon Lodge rooms and the Beach Villa rooms are in location. The Monsoon Lodge rooms are a five-minute drive from the Bali Tower, and several miles from the beach. Some guests feel stranded at the Monsoon Lodge. You’ll end up waiting for rides to the beach and restaurants.

The Beach Villas are in a prime location just steps from the beach, but they come up with a much higher price tag. Beach Villas are absolutely worth the extra dough, as the rooms are centered around a high-quality bed, which faces a magnificent ocean view.

Impeccable Service

As a 24-room hotel, the hotel offers incredible customer service. Honeymooners are often upgraded to Beach Villas, and all guests are treated to turndown service, as well as a 24-hour concierge. The resort features two restaurants, the Bali Tower, and Pantai Restaurant. Bali Tower is located near Monsoon Lodge, and is literally a five-story tower in the midst of dense rainforest. The forest views are impressive, the food is well-done, and prices are reasonable. Pantai Restaurant features much of the same as Bali Tower, but with prime beach views.

Snorkel At Menjangan Island

The Menjangan
The Menjangan is a great choice for honeymooners and those looking for peace and quiet, but there are many activities for those looking for a thrill. West Bali National Park features some of the best hiking and snorkeling in all of Southeast Asia. A trip to snorkel or dive at Menjangan Island is an absolute necessity. Menjangan Island has some of the best snorkeling in the world, and it’s a quick 20-minute boat ride from the resort.

Disconnect from the real world, and experience the beauty of Bali’s only national park. With so much to see and do at West Bali National Park, why not rest your head at the only five-star resort on the island?
