Labour Day 2012 Hong Kong

勞動節 or, Labour Day 2012 Hong Kong is a public holiday designated by the government of Hong Kong.  This day, which will be on May 1, 2012 this year is a year given to workers to rest and celebrate the achievements that have been accomplished for the past year. This is a nationally recognized holiday so many of the government workers and financial institutions will take the day off from regular working hours.

Of the 17 public Holidays that occur in Hong Kong each year, this is one of the most anticipated holidays in May.

Don’t worry if you’re traveling to Hong Kong on this date as most shopping centers and tourist attractions will still be open and operational.  Disneyland Hong Kong and other attractions will see a rise in visitors as people take the day off from work to relax and have fun.
