Tiffany’s Show Vs. Alcazar Show

The Alcazar Show, and Tiffany’s Show are the two most famous transvestite cabaret shows in Pattaya, and are known worldwide. Alcazar and Tiffany’s are similar theaters in size and shape, with Alcazar being a slightly larger production.

The similarities really are striking. Both shows feature song Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, and Thai songs in their roughly hour-long productions. You’ll see Tina Turner, Marilyn Monroe and The Wonder Girls impersonators at both shows.

Setting, Atmosphere & Authenticity Set Tiffany’s Apart

Both shows utilize low-brow humor, have moments of cheese and fluff, and they’re both relatively tame experiences in a wild party town. The sets at Alcazar are bigger, bolder, and the performances are longer. However, the atmosphere, the authenticity, and the setting (just a short walk from Walking Street), set Tiffany’s apart.

Do Not Pay For The VIP Seats

VIP seating at the Tiffany Show puts you front and center for the show, but you’ll pay an extra 200 baht for seating that isn’t much different than the regular “Deluxe” seats. Regular tickets cost 800 baht. Buy your tickets from an agent, or at your hotel, as many tourists find that tickets at the venue are more expensive.

The show runs for about an hour-and-fifteen minutes. Highlights of Tiffany’s Show are the Bollywood performance of Dola Re Dola during the “Royal India” segment, and Tzarist Russia segment of the show. Don’t be late, as the show starts on time.

After The Show

While Tiffany’s Show does not allow photography during the show (and they are very strict about enforcing this rule), the venue does offer easy access to the performers after the show. While post-show photos at Alcazar take place in the parking lot, Tiffany’s provides a platform outside of the main entrance for photos. Photos with the ladyboys cost 100 baht, be prepared to pay or be hassled.

Whether you choose Alcazar or Tiffany’s, it’s an absolute necessity that if you’re in Pattaya, you see one of its famous transvestite cabaret shows.
